See, I lived through a few extraordinary experiences in 2008 and 2009. It all started when I became a full-time caregiver to my dementia-stricken mom who was diagnosed with lung cancer. Five months after she died I found myself battling my own cancer war when I was diagnosed with Stage 2 B-cell non-Hodgkins lymphoma.
I underwent chemo and radiation and am now in remission. Haunt Jaunts was my “get-off-the-couch” recovery project. It was a great motivator and one of the keys that unlocked my healing.
But now I find myself needing another outlet for all my thoughts and ideas, fears, hopes and dreams. 2008 and 2009 threw me for some traumatic loops…but it also blessed me. And inspired me. And motivated me.
Court’s Corner is my place to muse about all the different things going on in my life –or a little bit of this and a little bit of that if you will. (I borrowed the “little bit of this and a little bit of that” from my Grandma. That was a saying she used to say a lot.)
