Courtney Lynn Mroch is both possessed by wanderlust and the spirit of adventure, as well as obsessed with true crime, horror, the paranormal, and weird days. All of which serves her well in her duties as Chief Content Creator at Haunt Jaunts.
Perhaps her proclivities have something to do with her genes? She is related to occult royalty, after all. Marie Laveau, the famous Voodoo practitioner of New Orleans, is one of her ancestors. That could also explain her infatuation with skeletons.
In addition to publishing two novels, an anthology, several short stories, and being a six-time Chicken Soup for the Soul contributor, her work has also appeared in TAPS Paramagazine, Haunted Magazine, and the Feminine Macabre anthology.
When she’s not traveling the world in search of history, mystery, and the macabre, it’s a safe bet you’ll find her binging horror movies/shows or true crime docs. Otherwise, she’s likely playing pickleball or attending to her first mate duties aboard the sailboat she and her husband enjoy taking out on Percy Priest Lake in Nashville, Tennessee.
She also writes horror under the nom de plume, C. Le Mroch.
